We arrived on Saturday morning at Sorong airport after a night of travel. Kadarusman (the man on the left of the picture) is here to welcome us with a whole group of students of the Sorong Fisheries Academy (APSOR). Two buses bring us to the APSOR where we will stay for a few days before leaving. But first, we will have to settle administrative formalities, buy groceries, fill up the gas tank, sort out equipment, and spread it on the two boats on which we are going to live during the whole expedition.
