The LENGGURU 2014 scientific expedition will take place in Western Papua from 17th October to 20th November 2014.

Conducted by the French Institut de recherche pour le développement (IRD), the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI), and the Sorong Fisheries Academy (APSOR), with corporate sponsorship from COLAS Group, Veolia Water and the Total Foundation, this expedition involves nearly 74 European and Indonesian researchers. It is the largest scientific exploration ever undertaken in Indonesia.
