Here, Saturday is no day off!

Saturday 25th October, from the base camp.

Dr Kadar and Christophe came back in the morning with rainbow fish they caught the night before. They may have found a new species!

Jean-Christophe, a palm tree specialist, is also pleased with the samplings he collected over the last few days. He already has a large quantity of samples that he leaves to dry in newspapers. He has 7 duplicates for every species in order to send them to different European and Indonesian reference herbariums.

For its part, the Airaha 2 went to sea for several days and will not come back until the beginning of next week.
